06 October 2025 | The "Secure Release Order" (SRO), the new digital release procedure for import containers, was successfully introduced in the seaports of Bremerhaven, Wilhelmshaven and Hamburg on 1 October, as reported in a press release. The cooperation partners are convinced that the launch of the project marks an important milestone, particularly for the safety of employees in the seaports and in the hinterland: according to them, a joint platform has been established thanks to the cross-border cooperation between politicians, the port industry and the two software companies dbh and Dakosy.
