We invite all freight forwarders, logistics companies, transport companies and rail network operators to a free webinar on September 17, 2025 from 10:00 – 11:00 to learn about the latest developments in the German Ports – Secure Release Order project.

The project aims to make the release process digitalized and more secure, as well as to comply with the new regulatory requirements of the Port Security Act. This will ensure that it is possible to trace which party is authorized for the disposition of a container at all times, from its waterway arrival at the port until its pick-up by the transport company. The previous anonymous PIN procedure will be successively replaced by a personalized digital „Authorization for Pick-up“. It is anticipated that the new procedure will be mandatory for all companies involved in import processes from October 1, 2025.
