Dear all,<\/span><\/h3>\n

as almost all terminals are now participating in the Secure Release Order process and the majority of relevant market participants have been successfully onboarded, the Downgrade to PIN function will be deactivated on a location specific basis.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>

The deactivation will take place on the following dates:<\/span><\/h3>\n

Hamburg: 09.02.2026<\/span><\/b>\u00a0(Eurogate Hamburg, HHLA Containerterminal CTT, HHLA Containerterminal CTB)<\/span><\/p>\n

Bremerhaven: 16.02.2026<\/span><\/b> (Eurogate Bremerhaven (Eurogate Containerterminal Bremerhaven CTB and MSC-Gate), North Terminals Bremerhaven)<\/span><\/p>\n

Wilhelmshaven:<\/span><\/b>\u00a0Date to follow and will be published on the website<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>

From the respective deactivation date onwards, container pick up will only be possible on the basis of a valid Pick Up Right.<\/span><\/p>\n

The use of the PIN based procedure will no longer be available from that point onwards. However, PINs generated prior to the respective deactivation date will remain valid beyond the cut off date.<\/span><\/p>\n

For HHLA Container Terminal CTA, the Downgrade to PIN function will remain available after 09 February 2026.<\/span><\/p>\n

By deactivating the PIN based alternative, a uniform pick up process is being established, improving both security and traceability.<\/span><\/p>\n

We kindly ask you to review your internal processes accordingly and to ensure that, from the respective date onwards, only digital Pick Up Rights are used.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Please also ensure that all existing legacy codes, namely the TR02 Trucker Code, CODIS Code and TR02 Carrier Code, are fully and correctly maintained in your German Ports account.<\/span><\/p>\n

This is the only way to ensure that your processes can continue without interruption.\nShould you have any questions, our German Ports Support team will be happy to assist you.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>
